Gold Class Equestrian on the Mornington Peninsula

The Equestrian Festival, which was proudly supported by Credit Suisse Private Banking, featured an evening Masterclass with 2008 Olympic gold and bronze medalist Heike Kemmer. 

'We are so pleased with the turnout of people over the weekend, it was amazing to see so many horse lovers in one place, and Heike Kemmer was inspiring and very entertaining. We are proud to have organised an event that gave people more understanding about equine Philosophies,' said Peter Horobin.

Equestrian activities were run throughout the day for the whole family, comprising of demonstrations, a stallion parade, trade village and mini masterclasses including a Peter Horobin Saddle Fit for Life demonstration. The day featured dressage champion Brett Parbery, Warwick McLean and Olympians Jamie Coman and Amanda Howell.
The focal point of the evening's program was dressage champion Heike Kemmer's Masterclass. Heike flew directly in from Germany specifically for the event and spent her only week in Australia at Boneo Park training a select group of riders and their horses.

'Boneo Park is such a wonderful equestrian facility and the new development is very exciting. I'm so pleased I was part of this event. I look forward to coming back to Boneo Park again very soon and I will continue to work closely with my dear friend Peter Horobin,' Heike said.
Boneo Park will soon commence stage 2 of their international quality venue. This venue has been designed to be eco, horse and rider friendly. Boneo Park will play host to some of the biggest equestrian competitions throughout Victoria with the aim to increase the standard and profile of Equestrian Sport in Australia. This exciting venue will attract competitors from all across Australia in all disciplines. With much anticipation we look into what will be Boneo Park's future.

'I am ecstatic with how the event went, the attendance figures far exceeded our expectations and everyone seemed to be greatly enjoying themselves. For our first attempt at running an event of that scale we could not be happier,' said Fiona McNaught, Proprietor and Managing Director of Boneo Park Equestrian Centre.
